A true feast of colors and scents awaits you at the Tulip Parade in the Botanical Garden in Balchik. 

25,000 multicolored plants of various varieties, concentrated mainly in two flower beds - one in the Nursery garden, the other in the Divine Garden - welcome visitors. The remaining spring-blooming flowers comprise over 65 varieties - pansies, violas, daffodils, hyacinths, and others.

A year earlier the pandemic closed the doors of tourist sites and the beautiful flower panels remained empty. Now, however, everyone who wishes to enjoy the colorful alleys and picturesque views by the seaside, to smell the aromas and hear the spring songs of the birds, has the opportunity to do so until May 15, when the tulips will give way to the summer flowers.

The Palace in Balchik opened its events calendar on April 20. The date was not chosen by chance, as on this day in 1976 the April Uprising broke out. On this occasion, over 80 original exhibits from the Panagyurishte History Museum will be arranged in the Stone Hall of the state cultural institute. 

Visitors to the Palace will have the chance to see male and female folk costumes, the flag and revolver of Rayna Knyaginya, a flintlock rifle, mother-of-pearl decorations, pistols, knives, yataghans, equipment, insurgent clothing, and more.
